The swedish electro pop duo Social Ambitions have been busy this spring and will get even busier during the summer of 2011. Following up on the very successfull and critically acclaimed debut almbum Almsot Gone, the band are continously producing new material for coming releases.

First out is the single of the summer, Commandments. A dense, intense and catchy elecro pop track with a fresh bassline and massive chorus released August 1, 2011.

"The song is about inner and out commandments, about doing what is right for you - a very strong message as we see it", says Anders. "When we started working on the song it was much slower but turned out to be a very danceable track, very much due to the bassline which gives a strong character to the song". One of the absolute best tracks we have produced so far."

Along with the title track comes the sub-bass blessed electro track Paris. A "b-side" so strong it could have been a release of its own. A deep 4-on-the-flour sub-bass kickdrum is driving the song under the analogue vocoder sounds; french cabaret samples and beautyful arpeggio.

"We have developed our sound and songwriting even further from the album release of Almost Gone", says Anders and continues. "It feels good to have two great songs in this summer relase, two songs in different styles but still very much being the sound of SA. Commandmbets is pure pop and Paris is smoother electro."
